THTC eLearning Terms and Conditions

• Participants registering for self-pace online training are eligible for a full refund provided they cancel their training within 7 business days of registration and have not accessed the self-paced online course. Due to the increased number of registrations being cancelled shortly after the registration requests are received by THTC, cancelling self-paced online course registration in under 7 business days from the date of the date registered, will result in an administration charge of $40. All PayPal requested refunds - regardless of the reason - will be charged a $10 administration fee. 

• Once the participant has accessed the self-paced online workshop materials and/or the 7 business days have passed, there will be no refund of online training fees.

• Attendance for self-paced online training is not monitored; however, each training must be completed within a 30-day period from the date of online course access. If participants haven’t completed their course within this time period and wish to have their course extended* or reinstated*, the full cost of the course for paid courses or an administration fee of $25 for free courses may be charged.

• Please note, to extend a course, THTC must be notified within at least 7 business days before the course completion deadline. Once the course deadline has been reached, the course cannot be extended as participants are automatically un-enrolled from their course and will no longer have access to workshop materials.

• Participants will be automatically un-enrolled from their self-paced workshop once the completion deadline has been reached. Participants will no longer have access to workshop materials after the completion deadline. It is the participant’s responsibility to track their course completion deadlines. The Toronto Hostels Training Centre is not responsible for managing participant’s course completion deadlines.
  
  

*Course Extension – When a participant is unable to complete their self-paced online course within the 30-day deadline and the course has not yet expired. THTC must be notified within at least 7 business days before the course completion deadline. Once the course deadline has been reached, the course cannot be extended as participants are automatically un-enrolled from their course and will no longer have access to workshop materials.

*Course Reinstatement – When a participant is unable to complete their self-paced online course within the 30-day deadline and the course has expired. It is important to note when a workshop is reinstated, the participant will no longer have access to their prior course and materials. The participant will be starting the course from the beginning.
